Drexel Metals Introduces Timber Series | Roofing Contractor

Last week, Drexel Metals unveiled its new Timber Series of wood-grained finishes, which includes five soffit and wall panel finishes that fuse the look of wood with the durability of metal. The timber visuals are offered in shades ranging from rich browns to gray and soft white; the grain pattern allows coordination with other project surfaces.

Drexel Metal says its latest offerings are “virtually indistinguishable from authentic wood and empower architects and designers with boundless creative possibilities on surfaces that excel in functionality and performance.”

In a July 2 news release, Drexel said the new visuals use a 4-coat PVDF finish system, qualifying them for a 40-year Print Coat System Limited Warranty. The company added that the Timber Series is offered in various substrates and coil widths to ensure seamless integration with a project's needs.

Panels are offered in 24-gauge steel and .032-inch aluminum. Timber Series coils, suitable for all Drexel Metals’ soffit and wall panels, can be obtained in coil widths up to 48 inches.
